ACADEMIC STANDING

EFNA HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMY has voluntarily chosen to maintain its private independence, and has not applied, nor intends to apply to the U.S Department of Education for recognition and evaluation under their rules and procedures. Therefore, we do not claim to be an accredited institution under said Department, but at the same time clarify that accreditation is not a legal requirement for this private school to exist, operate, and issue valid diplomas for purposes of employment and to continue education at other schools.

This school comply with the requirements set forth by the Office of Non-public Schools of the NJ Department of Education for purposes of operation. Because this school is a virtual and Home School for Adults, the NJ Department of Education has determined that it does not require licensing, accreditation and State registration. You may verify this information directly with the NJ Department of Education:

This information is given to all prospective students before they make a final decision of admission. Some institutions, per their own educational policies, may require certain academic subjects as pre-requisites for admission to their programs. Our experience attests that Diplomas of this type are being accepted nationally by recognized schools of higher education, and by employers.

This is not a GED, but an earned High School Diploma.

For these stated reasons, our students are required to sign a statement of understanding and accepting our academic status, and not hold this school or its officials liable if the diploma is not accepted by any institution or employer where he/she is applying to enter.

It is important to emphasize that there is no legal basis to reject your diploma, but at the same time we state that not every institution or business entity is obliged to accept your diploma, because each institution or business entity has their own policies of acceptance, as stated above.

Of course, all educational entities must adhere to the regulatory laws of education within the State it operates, which may vary from State to State.
